About the event
The ARTFX Lille Open Day!
A chance to discover ARTFX from the inside if you are wondering: "is this school right for me?" And who better than our students to show you what really happens on campus?
ARTFX is the best school in France for visual effects and 2D animation (The Rookies 2026 ranking), and its Lille campus is a brand-new campus dedicated to cinema.
On the agenda: welcome, tour, talks, project exhibitions and discussions about careers in 2D and 3D animation and visual effects (VFX).
🕙 10am to 5pm
The talks
Four talks in the Diamant room, led by Alexandre Pagot, campus director, and Tom Weil. Each talk lasts 1 hour, including a Q&A.

The tour
Before or after the talk, explore the campus on your own by following the workshop signs or, even better, with one of our students. Together, you will discover the different fields and programs through the workshops:

- 🌍 3D Assets & Environment

- 💥 Visual effects (VFX / Compositing / Houdini)
- 🎥 Live-action shooting workshop
- 🗿 3D Sculpt (ZBrush)
- 🎨 Traditional practice: sculpture, anatomy, drawing
- 📁 Portfolio review (advice & examples)
- 🎓 Admissions office and campus life
Bring your portfolio
Drawings, sketchbooks, personal projects: bring what you have. We will look at it with you and give you advice for your application.
Bring your parents
Housing, student loans, supplies, support, study rhythm: our teams will answer all their questions.
Already studying elsewhere?
In a preparatory class, a BTS, at university or in another art school and want to specialise? Drop by the admissions office: we will look at your background with you to see how you can continue your studies with us.
No set route!
There is no standard visit: you can see everything or focus on the field that interests you most, animated film or visual effects. Ask your questions, share your plans: our teachers and students are here to talk with you!
